Smallville Seasons New Release now!

You know, I am a fan for Smallville Seasons, there is something new release for you!

In the post-Crisis version of events, Lana was a childhood friend of Clark, with a certain degree of romantic tension in the air as Lana had long pined after Clark, who had loved her only platonically in return.

After they graduated from high school Clark took Lana on a private walk, saying that he had to tell her something important, which Lana honestly expected to be a marriage proposal.

He then divulged to her that he had superpowers, displayed by flying her around the world, before explaining that he felt he had to leave Smallville to help humanity as a whole.

Kissing her goodbye “like a brother,” Lana was left in considerable shock, not only over the revelation of Clark’s superpowers, but also over the final realization that he held no reciprocal romantic feelings towards her, leaving Lana heartbroken and alone.

When Lana finally aired her grievance with him years later[volume & issue needed], Clark felt very badly over how he had hurt her.

When Clark appeared in public as Superman some years later, the lonely and depressed Lana deduced his true identity and became something of a stalker, to the extent that Lex Luthor noticed the frequency with which she appeared in the vicinity of the hero and actually had her tortured in an attempt to gain whatever inside knowledge of Superman she might have.

However, Lana bravely kept Clark’s identity a secret and upon his rescuing her their relationship became more healthy once again, albeit still at a distance.

Unlike the pre-Crisis Earth-One continuity, Lana did not go on to have a journalistic career, compete with Lois for Superman’s affections, nor play a significant role in Clark’s life in Metropolis.

Lana’s relationship with Clark is again altered in 2003′s Superman: Birthright limited series by Mark Waid, which again revises Superman’s origins. This storyline, which takes some inspiration from the TV show Smallville (such as the appearance of Ma and Pa Kent), also shows Clark and Lana to have had a mutual romantic relationship during their youth. At the start of the storyline, Lana has already left Smallville prior to Clark’s return from his world journey.

Upon his arrival home, a disappointed Clark is told that Lana left some time prior and has not been heard from since.

Following this storyline, there is never again made mention of her past history regarding Clark or Superman.

Lana’s “Birthright” history has been yet again re-made following the events of the Infinite Crisis, which has revived Clark’s pre-Crisis Superboy alter-ego.

The Rugrats Movie $6.44 Based on the popular Nickelodeon TV series Rugrats, this is the first full-length feature animated movie to star the little tots. It’s the story of diaper-clad kids, told from a baby’s point- of-view, and they were one of the hottest-selling toy franchises of the late ’90s. Home Movie $12.99 Upon realizing that their two young children are inherently evil, a pair of desperate suburban parents resign themselves to the fact that all they can do is document the youngsters’ cruelty on camera for all the world to see. A first-person shocker shot in the pseudo-documentary style of The Blair Witch Project and Diary of the Dead, Home Movie tells the chilling story of the Poe family, a middle class, suburban clan living in upstate New York. Clare Poe (Cady McClain) is a psychiatrist, and her husband David (Adrian Pasdar) is a Lutheran minister. Clare recently purchased a video camera to document her sessions, but when children Jack and Emily (real-life brother and sister Austin and Amber Williams) begin displaying some seriously disturbing behavior, the concerned mother can’t resist the temptation to make some home movies. At first the footage seems fairly benign, but then young Jack hurls a rock at his father’s face. Later, after Emily interrupts a tender moment by slaughtering a frog, a conversation between the parents reveals that the children have always been violent, and their anti-social behavior is getting worse by the day. When religion and medicine fail, the situation turns critical, prompting Clare to try some home counseling with her children as the patients. Vulgar’s debut performance, however, proves worse than disastrous; hired to appear at a bachelor party, Vulgar is gang-raped by three subnormal rednecks who were expecting something quite a bit different. Will’s life seems to have hit rock bottom when he stumbles into the middle of a police standoff with a deranged father holding his children hostage. Will, in full Flappy the Clown regalia, accidentally saves the day, and soon the story of the heroic clown is all over the local media. A television producer gets the idea of building a children’s television show around Flappy, and it looks like Will may have finally hit the big time. But just when things begin to look up, Will is informed that someone videotaped him being raped at the bachelor party, and a blackmailer threatens to release the tape and destroy his new career if Will doesn’t pay up. New Jack City $5.21 The ruthless leader of a New York City drug syndicate battles to maintain his power and avoid imprisonment in this fast-moving action drama. First-time director Mario Van Peebles keeps the traditional plot moving at an appropriately rapid pace, with stylish action sequences and energetic performances. The film’s violence was somewhat controversial on its initial release, especially after shooting incidents marred showings in several theaters. Garfield: The Movie $12.78 Although Garfield: The Movie was ill-conceived, its soundtrack — which was released to tie in with the film’s DVD release — doesn’t fare nearly as badly as the movie that inspired it. Although its cat, dog, and friendship-themed songs are more than a little obvious, most of the actual music on the album ranges from strong (Matthew Sweet’s “Cats vs. Dogs,” the Stray Cats’ “Stray Cat Strut”) to classic (James Brown’s “I Got You [I Feel Good],” Elton John’s “Honky Cat,” Elvis Presley’s “Hound Dog”). Though it’s hardly a creative stretch to compile tracks such as Tom Jones’ “What’s New Pussycat?,” Squirrel Nut Zippers’ “Fat Cat Keeps Getting Fatter,” Rufus Thomas’ “Walking the Dog,” and George Clinton’s “Atomic Dog,” the fun results justify the album’s concept. All Too Much’s “More Than a Friend” and the Baha Men’s “Holla” aren’t quite up to the par of the rest of the soundtrack, but overall, Garfield’s mix of furry-themed oldies and not-so-oldies is enjoyable for both kids and parents — much more so, unfortunately, than Garfield: The Movie itself was. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi Performers: Tim Davis – Vocals

Daria’s mother, however, refuses to let the girl spend the summer moping. Daria soon finds herself manning the OK to Cry Corral, a day camp where one of her teachers, Mr. O’Neill, bores and oppresses the children with his sensitive new age ways. Meanwhile, supporting players Kevin, Brittany, Jodie, and Mack suffer through employment horrors of their own. As for Daria’s shallow younger sister, Quinn, she ignores the dictates of the Fashion Club and enlists the help of a tutor to get her test scores up and prove she’s not stupid; along the way, she learns a little bit about depth and maturity. Jane, too, decides to act her age after Daria arrives for a weekend visit at Ashfield — just in time to save Jane from the manipulative poseurs who surround her. Is It Fall Yet? premiered nearly commercial-free on MTV on August 27, 2000, serving as a bridge between the show’s fourth and fifth seasons.
